Mishnah Ta'anit 4:1
בִּשְׁלשָׁה פְרָקִים בַּשָּׁנָה כֹּהֲנִים נוֹשְׂאִין אֶת כַּפֵּיהֶן אַרְבַּע פְּעָמִים בַּיּוֹם, בַּשַּׁחֲרִית, בַּמּוּסָף וּבַמִּנְחָה וּבִנְעִילַת שְׁעָרִים, בַּתַּעֲנִיּוֹת וּבַמַּעֲמָדוֹת וּבְיוֹם הַכִּפּוּרִים:
En tres ocasiones del año los kohanim levantan las manos para pronunciar la bendición sacerdotal cuatro veces al día: en Shajarit, Musaf, Minjá y Neilá. Esto ocurre durante los ayunos públicos, durante los maamadot y en Yom Kipur:
